yeah.....we did some gigs n stuff. mmhmm
03.11.17 - Airwaves - Cintamani
Last gig of this years Airwaves and it was at our favourite location. The Cintamani store downtown where it felt like a million people walked by and some 50-60 people acutally stood their ground to listen to the full show. We had a blast. Full throttle again but the voice was almost gone this being our fourth gig in as many days. Don't think that mattered as much fun was had by all. We sold a bunch of merch which is important for us as our income is not in the millions.
SETLIST for Airwaves 2017
1. RED HILLS
2. ECHOES OF THE NINETIES
3. HE-MAN AND THUNDERCATS RULE!
4. BETWEEN THE CITY AND STARS
5. WHERE GOOD GUYS GO TO DIE
6. THAT'S WHAT MEN DO (new song)
7. PUTIN
02.11.17 - Airwaves - Bar 11
Third gig of this years Airwaves and our second today. Bar 11 did not have a large crowd but towards the end it eventually got a little bit bigger. We had a lot of fun and played our hearts out. Sometimes those are the best gigs. No pressure and full throttle.
02.11.17 - Airwaves - Dillon
We love Dillon. We love the Airwaves week. Great crowd and we played well. Second time we played ,,That's what men do" for an audience and it got the best reception. We sold some cd's and talked to a few people. All very cozy.
We had a personal driver which carried all our equipment to the next gig. Very handy. This was actually provided by KIA which sponsered the off venue this year.
31.10.17 - Airwaves - Lucky Records
Our first gig in a while. We were rusty and all kinds of stuff hampered this first Airwaves gig of 2017 to be excellent. We loved being back though and considered this as a good start to this years Airwaves.
25.08.17 - Græna herbergið
This was a privite gig where we also played cover songs to entertain the crowd. Everything went wrong that day. Græna herbergið sucks ass. Their equipment is faulty, the owner is a dick who ultimately pulled the plug on our show. Why? because he himself wanted to sing for some people upstairs and Casio Fatso were too loud.
People were disgusted by that unprofessional behaviour and needless to say Casio Fatso will never play there again.
Our show was brilliantly received and everybody were enjoying themselves.
19.08.17 - Dillon
Culture night at Dillon where bands played all day. We played for a bunch of people. The gig was outdoors and people sipped beer and ate barbeque in the sun. Brilliant stuff.
23.06.17 - Dillon
Our best show to date. Full house. Crazy tourists. Sweat. Facebook live. Fun times all around. We loved this gig. We love life.
01.06.17 - Hard Rock
Played with some legendary bands like Hemúllinn and Mosi Frændi. Proabably the best stage and sound system in Iceland. We ripped it a new one.
24.05.17 - Gaukurinn
We facebook live-d the shit out of that concert. Shared a bill with two fine bands.
11.05.17 - Dillon
Dillon Music May Festival. It was ok.
07.04.17 - Bar 11
Played with the Knife Fights and LITH. Good time was had by everybody. On we go promoting our new, yet unreleased, album.
March 2017 - Dillon
Our first gig in, like, ages. Well....to sum it up....it was our best gig to date! People danced and jumped on tables (well, ok, it was acutally our bass player but still). First time playing our new songs from our new album (due out late May).

Played some shows. Good times were had by everybody.
I wanna say....July - Eistnaflug
Eistnaflug was great. Played a show, talked to people, saw other bands. We want to go back.
21.05.16 - Gaukurinn
Played with Adore//repel and Gasoline spills to a lovely crowd. Wonderful show with a lot of drama as our singer blew his voice out after only 4 songs. Had to cut 2 songs from the set but still managed to entertain the crowd.

04.05.16 - Íslenski Rokkb.
Only our second show of 2016 and we played with Örvilnun and Gasoline spills. The latter is right up our alley and play music that matches our style completely. They are young but very promising. This was the first show for our new bassist Atli. We said goodbye to Hjörtur that night. He played one final song (Red hills) and waved goodbye. He was an original member and now there is only one original left standing (SIR). We debuted many new songs and really liked how everbody responded.

22.01.16 - Bar 11
Our first show of 2016. We played once again at Bar 11 to a selction of someones. We played around 20 songs and had fun. Did some cover songs like Disarm by Smashing Pumpkins, Ziggy Stardust to honour a late hero and finally two Nirvana songs School and Territorial Pissing. We loved playing this show as things were easy and carefree. 3 different guys came up to us after the show telling us that we were super tight. One even compared us to just one man with 8 arms....so unified and tight he thought we were. Needless to say they will all be recieving a christmas card from us.
2016
19.12.15 Íslenski Rokkbarinn
Last show of the year and it was a christmas gig. We had fun and of course thrashed amps and guitars as is the ritual in this pub when we play. Oh...and we wore christmas jumpers during the cover songs.
Setlist:

Disarm (SP cover)
Last Christmas (Wham cover)

Airwaves 2015
We played only 3 shows this Airwaves. Met a lot of people and had a blast. Dillon and Bar 11 were cool gigs. To be honest we were a bit busy with other things but managed to squeese in some fun :)
22.10.15 - Tjarnarbíó
This was our release show for our debut album. It went great! lots of people came and the setting, stage and ambience was absolutely perfect. We wish we could play these kind of venues all the time. We felt like kings. Lily of the Valley played with us, one of the hottest bands in Iceland today. They were fabulous! We will deffinitely be repeating this when our next album comes out. We played the entire album plus 2 new songs. The crowd was unbelievable!
03.10.15 - Ölstofan Hfj
Played with Ottoman. Small crowd but fun.
01.10.15 - Bar 11
Played with two bands from Austin, Texas....Ruby Fray and Airplane Mode. They were quit good and wonderful people that we instantly love.
25/09/15 - Bar 11
Played with Ottoman. It was an ok show
29.08.15 - Dillon
We played with our buddies Rythmatik which we love. There was an entrance fee and we were like young school children fearing that no one would show up at our birthday party. But alas! we filled the shed with people and had a blast! We played our new song "Red Hills" for the first time in public. That's gonna be a real contender for a first single of a new album!
22.08.15 - Menningarnótt
We played in a bookstore called Mál og menning and in Cintamani on this day of culture in Reykjavík. There were few people at the bookstore but we managed to sell quite a few copies of our album. The Cintamani gig was the third time we played in that window in three years. This was the biggest crowd to date and we sold even more copies which was cool. And of course by biggest crowd we mean that there were a couple of giants watching the show.
06.06.15 - Bar 11
This was the final night of the Icelandic Tattoo Festival. We played with Ottoman. They were great. A real Rock n Roll band. We played a longer set again as we wanted to sweat. Under those steamy stage lights our drummer almost drowned. We managed to break a glass, destroy a bass amp and headbutt a mic in the face. Good times
30.05.15 - Ísl Rokkb
We played with a band called Black Desert Sun. They play stoner rock. We only played for 30 min but it was fun
22.05.15 - Dillon
We played our longest set to date. 55 min setlist and it was sweaty. We always love playing at Dillon. The venue just has its own balls.

08.11.14 - Cintamani
This was our last gig of this years Iceland Airwaves festival. 5 shows in 3 days! This final gig took place in a display window in this tourist shop downtown Reykjavík. Probably our best exposure so far as many many people saw us as they walked past whether they liked it or not. Some stayed and watched outside and some came into the warm store and saw us from behind as we were facing the street. 2 guys especially enjoyed the show and actually started a mosh pit inside the store. They were from Germany and New Zealand. We instantly loved them. All in all....this years IA was fantastic. We gained new fans and managed to reach a whole bunch of people.
07.11.14 - Celtic Cross
Last gig of the day was in this little sleazy basement. Very narrow stage but charming none the less. As this was the end of our long day we hit the bottle and kind of just played for ourselves. And we had fun. Jamming more than usual and just sort of goofing around. The drum kit wouldn't stay put and in most of our songs we had these interesting drum breakdowns, which only made it that more spontaneous.
Setlist:
1.Heartbeat

07.11.14 - Hitt Húsið
This gig was at 22:15 and located in a community house for young people. Not many were present but the house is actually situated dead center of Reykjavík so people could hear us from the street. It was a short set of only 6 songs but that was actually perfect.
07.11.14 - English Pub
This was friday at the Iceland Airwaves festival. This day we had 3 gigs. This was at 15:00 which turns out is a really good time to be visible at IA. There were a lot of people inside this pub as the official IA program wasn't in full swing by then. Full house and we played our socks off. The stage is tiny but we managed to fit just barely.
06.11.14 - Lucky Records
This was our first of five gigs during this years Iceland Airwaves. This is a vinyl record store. Good crowd and so much fun. Our second year straight at that place during IA.
31.10.14 - Íslenski Rokkbarinn
This was halloween. We played in costumes. Bleeding ebola patients was our thing. The gig itself was good with a good crowd.
20.09.14 - Íslenski Rokkbarinn
We played at a birthday party. We finished the set like this
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=b20RpVIR8f0
gotta get us some new guitars for the next gig
18.09.14 - Dillon
Dillon was good to us. He gave us some audience and a lot of beer. We played with a peculiar gusto that night. Kinda lit our inner selves on fire. We liked it. We love our new songs. We love playing in front of a crowd. We love beer. We love modnine rock. We hate pop. We tolerate digital wathces but most of all we totally loathe...
06.09.14- Gaukurinn
The gig at Bar 11 was so much fun that we decided to do it again. The very next night. But this time at Gaukurinn. Again, both bands were amazing. Even better than the night before. Same setlist. Same fury. Awesome to play with Rythmatik.
05.09.14 - Bar 11
We played with a band called Rythmatik. We absolutely love that band. We urge people to check them out.
The show was amazing. Both bands gave it their all and came out screaming with fury. We played ,,Controlling the world...." for the second time. Much better and more solid. We also premiered a new song called ,,Satelite". We had only practiced that song a few times but its an instant classic.

23.08.14 - Menningarnótt - Bíó Paradís
We played songs from our upcoming album ,,Controlling the world from my bed". This was at a movie theater called Bíó Paradís and during the Menningarnótt (Culture night). We premiered our new song Controlling the world from my bed, which, ironically will be on our next album. The gig was so and so. SIR broke a string and with no replacement guitar had to constantly tune the guitar which was furthermore falling apart (screws coming off mid song).

Played our ususal set at Gaukurinn. Just to keep the machine going in between recording sessions.
26.02.14 - Austó
Kids in school. Kids who rule. If we could play to such a good crowd again it would be a blessing. We loved playing for those kids. This was an under 16 years old concert in some school downtown. All we are saying is that half of the band ended the show lying on their back screaming their lungs out. So much so that the singer was actually hospitalized the day after with one of his organs coming out of his belly button. Srsly.
30.01.14 - Dillon
Dillon was crowded with the right people. We played last after Kælan Mikla and Morgan Kane. We gave it our all and were really pleased with the results.

10.01.14 - Íslenski Rokkbarinn
We played with Morgan Kane and Dorian Gray. SIR was suffering from soar throat and it wasn't our best set energy wise but we managed to pull through. We had a legend in the crowd watching us. The singer and brainiac from Fræbblarnir. He later wrote about the show with kind words going our way. Many thanks.

02.01.14 - Gamli Gaukurinn (The Old Gook)
This marks the debut of our new drummer, Helgi. Also playing bass for the first time was our former drummer Hjörtur. We've never been this tight and powerful. This show was pretty good and included a missing flag, two drunks headbanging to all of our songs, Bono and Sinéad O Connor.
We played with a band who were coming out of retirement of 15 years! Punk rockers.

02.11.13 - Airwaves Off venue - English Pub
This is perhaps the smallest stage we have ever performed on. Which was fine. What was unique was the fact that while we played, the crowd had the opportunity to watch Chelsea-Newcastle live on like 15 different screens all over the pub. Newcastle scored two goals while we played. No one cheered, which I guess is......a good sign? People were well engaged and into the show. We have never had so many people come to us after the show to congratulate us and thank us. We really appreciated that. With this gig we closed our Airwaves week this year around.
31.10.13 - Airwaves Off venue - Lucky Record
After Cintamani we ran to Lucky Records and threw together a show. A very small crowd of a couple of lucky bastards heard the singer go thru three guitars until finally one of them worked. Broken strings, faulty jack input and such. Oh well.....of all the shows, this was the best suited to do a strange one.
31.10.13 - Airwaves Off venue - Cintamani
This was a cool experience. Cintamani is a store that sells outerwear and we played in their display window for people out in the street. It drew a crowd and was good exposure for the band. Although our blasting sound rebounded of the window and left us nearly deaf, good times were had by all.

It was a tiny corner on the second floor at Dillon. We almost didn't fit. Poor Anna Magga was stuck behind SIR and everybody had very little room to do stage antics. We joked about honoring Lou Reed by playing his collaboration with Metallica in its entirety. Nobody lauged......too soon?
Anyway, had a blast and the crowd was cool.
19.09.13 - Gamli Gaukurinn
This was the first gig we did with Anna Magga on bass and Dolli on guitar. The line up is now complete. We introduced some new songs into the set, such as "Pocketful of knives" and "Sebas". Great crowd, atmosphere and ambiance. Special thanks goes to the sound engineer Steinar for mixing the show. Perhaps the first time that place has had a good mix balance.
06.07.13 - Tour de North of Iceland
Casio Fatso took a road trip to the North of Iceland and played two festivals. First at Ólæti Festival in Ólafsfjörður then at Fagrafest in Dalvík. Both excelent shows and cool venues. We played as a threesome again and rocked out. We are very pleased with our performance and everything related to this trip. We will definitely be back next year.

Flass 104.5 was broadcasting a charity show. We played as a threesome for the first time. Everything went as planned. Didn´t affect us at all to be one guitar player down. I guess that says it all.......
07.06.13 - Gamli gaukurinn
We set the night on fire. Played our first and only cover song. Love is Blindness by the U2. It was awsome. We played with Morgan Kane, Scarlet, Distort City and Mojo Boutique.

06.06.13 - Keflavík Music Festival
Casio Fatso played the infamous KefMusFes. It was....interesting. When we arrived, all the equipment was scattered all over the place and no sound engineer or no one who knew anything. So we did the only thing any normal band would do....we fucking set all the stuff up, hooked it up and mixed the damn show ourselves. Also on the bill were Morgan Kane and My brother is pale.
18/04/13 - Stúdentakjallarinn
Played with Sindri Eldon & The Ways and Japanese super Shift and the future band. Our bass player was home, sick with the flu so we did the only logical thing. We Rocked on! The show must go on as someone said. This place is very cool. A lot of young hipsters and that´s exactly why we didn´t dare to play ,,Superstars". Just kidding. We forgot to play it.

11/04/13 - Íslenski Rokkbarinn
We played alongside our buddies Treisí and a new band called We met in Amsterdam. It was cool. We did a new song called ,,A masterpiece in plastic". Killer. We are getting too tight for our own good.
27/03/13 - Gamli Gaukurinn
This gig was part of the ,,Eflum íslenskt tónlistarlíf" series where bands play and have the audience vote what band is the most exciting one. We played a good set and were really pleased with our performance. We got second place only 2 votes shy of winning. But the really frustrating part was that 7 of our friends that came, forgot to vote. Oh well.
16/02/13 - Dillon
We played together with the young band Treisí. They were fresh. We had Krummi on the mixing desk which put a different spin on this gig to say the least. This was a very short set due to the lateness of the drummer from Treisí. I think we only managed to play 6 songs, which was a bummer.
15/02/13 - Gamli Gaukurinn
This gig was part of the Off Venue from the Sónar Festival. We were put in the line up at the nick of time, so we were only the second group on stage in a mix of Very, very different sounding bands. Played for 44 min and it was our best performance so far. We really enjoyed this gig and had a lot of fun. People cheered, shouted and bounced their heads in unision.
02/02/13 - Íslenski Rokkbarinn
We played with 2 great bands. First band on stage were Sindri Eldon & The Ways. They play a kind of a cooler version of Blink-182 ish rock. We like them.
Casio Fatso played second on the bill. We performed the Icelandic national anthem before the new song, United States of Shame. That turned out to be a killer! We had people chanting ,,Ísland, Ísland,Ísland" in a lovely patriotic way. Absolute killer. To be repated. Last band on the bill were Dorian Gray. Cool young band with a lot of energy.

24/01/13 - Dillon
Played with a band called My Brother Is Pale. Great attendance and a good atmosphere all around. We were really pleased with the show and how it was recieved. We opened with It´s measured in tears and went straight into Sullivan Boys. Both drop-D tunings and very lively. A good way to start off the show. We found out that the song Superstars is definitely gonna be our first single since the crowd really erupted after the song.

17/01/13 - Rás 2
Casio Fatso played at the national radio station, Rás 2, on a show called Skúrinn. We played a few songs and did an interview. The results can be found on youtube. This was recorded back in december but aired mid january. SIR was actually recovering from a soar throat and it can actually be heard very clearly that he was not quite up to par. Everything else was just dandy.

07/12/12 - Bar 11
Played to a very few but lucky music lovers. We taped the gig and put it on youtube. Played a short set due to the poor attendance but gave it our all. Bar 11 is without a doubt the best venue for a show like ours in Reykjavík. It´s exactly the right size and has a cozy ambiance. We were very pleased with everyting except the turnout.
17/11/12 - Dillon
Played with Mercy Buckets and Trust the lies. Good attendance. Great atmosphere. Very sweaty performances. We like Dillon. It´s cozy.
03/11/12 - Dillon
Off venue at Iceland Airwaves. We played second on the bill. We were joined by bands like The Leaves, Hljómsveitin ég, Dúkkulísurnar, Urban Lumber, Langi Seli og Skuggarnir, Retrobot and some others. Everything went well.
02/11/12 - Lebowski Bar
We played with Death by Toaster, Mercy Buckets and Urban Lumber. It was a good night. Good attendance and a sweaty performance. This was the first gig with Dolli on Bass.
0?/09/12 - Dillon
Played with Blind Bargain. Good attendance.

16/05/12 - Gamli Gaukurinn
This was Casio Fatso's debut gig. It was part of Reykjavík Live Festival and we played first on the bill. Later that night some notable bands stepped on stage such as Retro Stefsons, Valdimar and Ensími to name a few.
